We are Dr Steve and Theresa Hughlett, and we help clients achieve optimal health by getting off medications through knowledge of nutrition and mindset coaching.

Dr. Steve and Theresa Hughlett, married for over 38 years, are passionate about transforming lives through mindset and nutrition. Theresa, a Certified Life Coach, empowers individuals by teaching the impact of thoughts on results. Steve, with over 34 years as a Doctor of Pharmacy, shifted focus from medicine to nutrition after realizing its critical role in true health care. Together, they aim to prevent and reverse disease via nutrition, writing his book Your Plate is Your Fate, hosting the podcast Simple, Healthy Choices for Weight Loss, and offering courses toward health and medication free living, while also traveling and doing speaking engagements.

Our whole food approach focuses on sustainable and gradual changes to your diet and lifestyle that promote long-term health improvements. While individual results can vary, many participants start to notice positive changes in energy levels, mood, and weight within the first few weeks. Consistency and commitment to the program are key to achieving the best results.

Can your program help me to reduce or eliminate the need for medication?

The duration of this program can vary based on individual goals and needs. Some clients find that they can reduce medications in as little as one month. It depends on your level of commitment. Consult with your physician before you start this program since with some medications you will need to taper off gradually in order to get off of them.

What makes your program different from other weight loss programs?

Unlike traditional diets that often focus on calorie restriction, our program emphasizes the importance of whole, nutrient-dense foods that nourish the body and keep you feeling full without restricting calories. We educate our clients on making informed food choices that can lead to lasting health improvements.
